With proper application and aftercare, lash extensions can maintain a beautiful, full appearance for several weeks. At Bambi Did the Lash, retention is one of our biggest focuses. Our goal is for your extensions to last approximately 3–4 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle, lifestyle and aftercare.
Bambi has also trained over 100 local lash artists in lash application techniques, including how to improve retention and create lash sets that last. The same techniques taught in our professional lash trainings are used on our clients in the studio.
Most clients schedule their lash fills every 2–3 weeks to keep their set looking full. Clients with excellent retention may be able to go longer between appointments, but this depends on your individual lash growth cycle and how quickly your natural lashes shed.
Poor retention can be caused by several factors, including application technique, improper preparation, oil or product buildup around the lashes, aftercare habits, your natural lash cycle, lifestyle and environmental factors.
